Golden Coast Swim School Policies & DETAILS

Turn fear into confidence. Our Infant Self-Rescue and Survival Float Lessons give your child the lifesaving skills they need  and you the peace of mind you deserve.

Beyond survival. Beyond fear. We’re building confident swimmers and lifelong memories one splash at a time!

How do I enroll my child in lessons?

Enrollment is simple! You can fill out our online registration form or contact us directly for available start dates. Once registered, we’ll confirm your schedule, instructor, and any specific needs your child may have.

How are lessons scheduled?

Lessons are scheduled in short, consistent sessions. Lessons are 4 days a week Monday – Thursday for 10 minutes during the initial survival phase. This consistency helps your child retain skills and build confidence quickly. Maintenance lessons and or Group Lessons may be scheduled after finishing the initial one on one lessons.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Safety always comes first! If there’s thunder, lightning, or unsafe weather, lessons will be rescheduled or canceled with prorates to follow.  Light rain without thunder is typically safe; the pool is always warm and covered with sunshades, but your instructor will contact you directly if conditions require a cancellation or makeup.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel a lesson. If your little is sick day of or if something happens right before lessons please let us know As Soon As Possible!  We do our best to offer make-up sessions when possible, but due to our tightly scheduled programs, make-ups are not guaranteed.

Do you offer refunds?

Because we reserve your child’s spot and instructor time for the full session, tuition is non-refundable once lessons begin. However, if unexpected circumstances arise (such as illness or family emergency), please reach out — we always aim to work with families on solutions.

What happens after my child completes their survival course?

Once your child has mastered their self-rescue skills, they can transition into maintenance or group class development lessons. These programs build on their foundation, helping them swim longer distances, have fun, play with others, and truly love the water.
