Your Child’s Water Safety Journey Starts Today
Every child deserves to feel safe near water. Every parent deserves peace of mind. At Golden Coast Swim School, we make both happen. Every lesson is designed with one goal in mind: to teach life-saving water skills that build confident, capable, and secure little swimmers.
Unlike traditional swim classes that focus on splashing or play-based progress, our survival swim lessons teach a proven and medically-recognized method: Swim → Float → Swim.
From your baby’s first float to your toddler’s first Swim–Float–Swim, each session is private and personalized. We meet your child where they are — celebrating every win, every breath, every brave moment.
It’s not just swim lessons. It’s safety. It’s confidence. It’s freedom in the water.

Infant Survival Swim
(6 months – 15 months)
Introduce your baby to water safely while teaching life-saving skills. Our Infant Survival Swim Program lessons are short, focused, and fun—laying the foundation for future swim success. Lessons are held one-on-one and kept short (10 minutes) to support focus and muscle memory. Using a calm and nurturing approach, infants learn to:
Unlike traditional baby swim classes, our approach goes beyond splashing and songs. Infants learn that air is their safety, and floating is how they find it. This program is ideal for families who are proactive about water safety and want their baby to gain confidence early on.

Swim-Float-Swim Toddlers
(16 months – 3 years)
The most important water safety skills your toddler will ever learn. Toddlers are curious, fast, and unpredictable around water, which is why we focus on building independence, boundaries, and survival muscle memory. In this program, toddlers learn the proven Swim-Float-Swim sequence, which includes:
Through repetition and positive reinforcement, toddlers learn that they can problem-solve in the water — even without an adult. By the end of the program, toddlers can confidently perform the Swim-Float-Swim sequence across the pool.
Swim-Float-Swim Big Kids
(3 – 5+ years)
Survival swim skills + polished swim technique = strong, confident swimmers. This program helps older children refine their skills into a freestyle-ready sequence, learning proper technique, muscle memory, and water safety awareness while building joy and confidence in every lesson.
This program combines the life-saving skills of our Swim-Float-Swim method with the foundational techniques of future stroke swimming (freestyle readiness). Children learn to:
The goal is not just survival — it’s confidence and efficiency in the water. Kids learn to problem-solve, self-regulate, and stay calm when faced with unexpected situations in water.

Maintenance + Skill-Building Sessions
(Graduates Only)
Keep skills sharp and confidence high.
Once a child completes their initial survival swim program, maintenance lessons are offered to:
These lessons are ideal for families who want continued practice, refinement, and long-term skill retention.

ADDITIONAL LESSONS
Parent Education Sessions
A private session showing parents how to practice skills safely at home or on vacation.
Private One-On-One Sessions
Need additional training after you completed our swim•float•swim, but aren’t interested in a group setting? One-on-One sessions allows your child to continue their training in a calm and encouraging environment. With intentional repetition and focused instruction, our program develops confident swimmers who can self-rescue and find air independently.
Group Sessions
Group sessions are small groups of no more than four swimmers who have completed the swim-float-swim program and are no longer upset to get in the pool, participate, and follow instructions in a group setting.
Refresher Sessions
When you don’t have a pool, it can be hard to keep your child in the water practicing their skills consistently. Refresher sessions are great if you haven’t been in the water in over a month, if you are preparing for a vacation or if you just want a few lessons to refresh your child’s skills.
